Butter Paddle

We would like to extend a big CONGRATULATIONS to the EMQ Auxiliary for meeting their goal of funding all the holiday parties and special outings organized by the Children’s Services Committee in 2012. This tremendous accomplishment was achieved through the hard work of our Fund Development Chair, Carol Ross, along with the following community members:

Dr. Mamal Rahimi, an outstanding Los Gatos dentist, has donated $600 to support EMQFF children's activities this year. We thank him for his THIRD YEAR of generosity.

Dr. Tiffany Davies, a terrific Family Practice physician in Los Gatos, who also cares for several of our members, has donated $500 to sponsor the Fun in the Sun Party for the THIRD YEAR.

**2012**

Melody and Chris Melanchowsky, friends of the Auxiliary, sponsored the bowling outing for a second year.

Saundra Hill, Sustainer, and her husband Alan, for sponsoring the Halloween party.

Susan Gutterman, Active, and her husband Clifford, for sponsoring the Thanksgiving party.

Union Bank, The Private Bank, for co-sponsoring the Christmas party.

The Davidson Foundation for sponsoring the Christmas party.

Paula Negendank, Active, and her husband Terry, for obtaining the grant from Union Bank to co-sponsor the Christmas party and for matching the grant.

Yahoo! Inc., whose generous grant covered the remainder of our annual budget for Children’s Services.

Rochelle Baumstein, Active, for introducing us to her daughter Robyn, who sponsored our grant application at Yahoo.

Because of these friends of The Butter Paddle, the children of the EMQ FamiliesFirst were able to look forward to and enjoy activities, food and social events with friends and family.

Our Children’s Services Committee provides outings and parties for the children throughout the year.  These events are very important to the well being and morale of the children.

Can you help? We’re searching for sponsors to help cover the costs of these wonderful events.

Gifts of any size are helpful and appreciated. Co-sponsorships for any outing or party are 1/2 of the sponsorship cost. All will be thanked on our web site, our Facebook page and in our newsletter.
